Sjøholt Camping

The structure was quite poor, beds sold as doubles were one and a half square (my husband and I slept like sardines... in fact we didn't sleep); the curtain of the room fell during the night under test; the oven was dirty; Not it I absolutely recommend

Campsite located not far from the lake and immersed in the pine and birch forest. We slept in a wooden bungalow with beautiful red and green colors. Quite spacious interior with kitchen (no water) and bunk beds with rather shabby mattresses. Poorly maintained access roads and fairly clean common bathrooms, the men's one clean, the women's less so. Definitely low price for Norwegian standards which is reflected in a certain general neglect.

On the way to Geiranger, we booked a family apar**ent for 5 people and were given apar**ent B, directly behind reception, in the basement. The bedroom was a closed room with no windows or ventilation. The bunk bed was worn out, with saggy mattresses, old pillows (with stains) and old duvets. The couch in the living room was supposed to be a place to sleep for two people, but unfortunately the pull-out cushion was broken. Luckily we had a camper van, so one person could sleep in the car. The apar**ent we booked was not designed for 5 people. The lack of ventilation in the bedroom would have led to shortness of breath if there were 3 adults staying, but for us (2 children) it "only" led to very bad air. The free WiFi kept crashing so we had to use our own LTE network. The price/performance ratio was not right. We would not book again.
